The IR Board camera is a complete video camera on one small 1.125 x 1.125 inch board.  This black and white camera includes 6 Infrared LED's to provide illumination without any other external source of light. The camera can see in complete darkness.

The cameras should be mounted in an enclosure.  It requires a 12 Volt DC regulated power supply such as our XCamPS02 Switching Power Supply or a battery pack.   Unregulated wall-wart type transformers are not recommended.

Since the camera should be mounted and requires correct connections, you should only buy this camera if you are comfortable doing this.  If you connect the wires incorrectly and damage the camera, you cannot get a refund.  You must use either batteries or a regulated power supply to protect the camera from voltage surges.  If you use a basic transformer power supply and a surge damages the camera, you will now own a non-returnable broken camera.
