Model: XNiteOlyE330
We have only one of these Olympus E330 cameras converted to
IR-Only. The E330 is an interesting camera because it has three viewing
modes:
- Through the lens like a standard SLR camera
- Using the digital display back displaying the image through
the lens
- Using the digital display back displaying the actual image
from the image sensor
Because we have modified the camera to be IR-Only with an IR
filter placed directly over the image sensor, when using Mode 3, you will
actually see the infrared image live in real time. Modes 1 and 2 works as
normal allowing you to see the normal visual image. In Mode 1 and 2, auto
focus works normally. In Mode 3, you have to manually focus.
Because this modification is very complex on this particular
camera, we aren't planning on modifying anymore of these cameras. We doubt
that any else will ever offer this camera as a converted IR-Only camera, so if
interested act now.
The camera offered for sale includes a Zuiko 14-45mm f3.5-5.6
lens.
