Our 2-camera 5-Band systems use one of our Blue-Green-NIR 680-800nm cameras and one of our Green-Red-NIR 800-900nm cameras. The cameras are tied together with a simultaneous shutter controller. Our RSE software is included with all 5-band systems. RSE will automatically align and register a pair of images to create a 5-layer data stack. RSE can instantly display a variety of false color vegetation indexes and the user can choose which plant reflection and absorption channels they wish to use in any combination. RSE can save an RGB image, false color vegetation index image, binary thresholding image, or a binary data file of the 5-layer data stack or any vegetation index for integration into further systems.
For applications where the system must be as light as possible, we can build systems from the Sony QX10, Canon ELPH 110 and Canon SX260 cameras. Weight can be further saved if the user can provide 9 Volt and/or 5 Volt power for the shutter controller or dispensing with the shutter controller altogether and replacing it with a relay and/or 5 volt pulse. For applications such as fixed wing aircraft, the user may want to consider heavier more professional cameras such as the Canon 5D MK III or the Nikon D810.
